Please read and adhere to the following rules during your stay at any university rest house
General Rules
Limited Rooms for Alumni and Guests
Rooms are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Alumni and external guests are advised to book well in advance, especially during convocation season and major university events.
Drugs, Narcotics, and Smoking Strictly Banned
The use, possession, or distribution of drugs, narcotics, and all forms of smoking (including e-cigarettes and vaping) is strictly prohibited on the rest house premises. Violations will result in immediate eviction and may lead to legal action.
Visitor Hours: 10 AM to 8 PM
Outside visitors are allowed in the rest house common areas only between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Visitors are not permitted in guest rooms. All visitors must present valid identification at the reception desk.
Check-in by 10 PM, Check-out by 12 Noon
Guests must check in no later than 10:00 PM. Standard check-out time is 12:00 Noon. Late check-out may be allowed subject to availability and will incur additional charges. Early check-in requests should be made at the time of booking.
No Cooking in Rooms
Cooking, use of electric stoves, hot plates, or any heating appliances for food preparation is strictly prohibited inside guest rooms. A designated pantry area is available for heating water and light refreshments.
Breakfast Available for Purchase
Breakfast is not included in the room rate. A continental and Pakistani breakfast menu is available for purchase at the rest house dining area. Orders must be placed at the reception desk by 9:00 PM the night before.
Cash or Online Payment Before Checkout
All outstanding dues must be settled before checkout. Payment can be made via cash, bank transfer, or online payment methods. Credit card facilities are currently not available. Receipts will be issued for all payments.
Valid ID (CNIC/Passport) Required
All guests must present a valid original CNIC (for Pakistani nationals) or Passport (for foreign nationals) at the time of check-in. A photocopy will be retained for record purposes as per university security policy.
University Reserves Right to Cancel Bookings
The university administration reserves the right to cancel or modify any booking without prior notice in case of emergencies, official university events, or security concerns. Full refunds will be provided for university-initiated cancellations.
Pets Not Allowed
Pets and animals of any kind are not permitted inside the rest house premises. This includes emotional support animals. Service animals for persons with disabilities may be allowed with prior written approval from the administration.
Guests Responsible for Property Damage
Guests will be held financially responsible for any damage to rest house property, furniture, fixtures, or equipment during their stay. A damage assessment will be conducted at checkout, and charges will be applied accordingly.
Noise Levels Must Be Kept Minimum After 10 PM
Guests are requested to maintain a quiet and peaceful environment, especially after 10:00 PM. Loud music, gatherings, and any activities that disturb other guests are strictly prohibited. Repeated violations may result in eviction without refund.
Cancellation Policy
Free Cancellation (48+ hours before check-in)
Full refund if cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled check-in date and time.
Late Cancellation (24-48 hours before check-in)
50% of the total booking amount will be charged as cancellation fee. Remaining 50% will be refunded.
No-Show / Last Minute (Less than 24 hours)
No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours before check-in or for no-shows.
Early Departure
No refund for unused nights in case of early departure. The full booking amount will be charged.
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in
- Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM
- Early check-in subject to availability (may incur additional charges)
- Valid government-issued ID required at check-in
- Booking confirmation (printed or digital) must be presented
Check-out
- Standard check-out time is 12:00 PM (Noon)
- Late check-out (after 12 PM) will be charged at 50% of the day rate
- All room keys must be returned to reception at check-out
- Room inspection will be conducted; damages will be charged
Payment Terms
- 1Full payment is required at the time of check-in unless pre-paid online.
- 2University employees may opt for salary deduction with prior approval from their department head.
- 3Accepted payment methods: Cash, Bank Transfer, Online Payment through the portal.
- 4A security deposit of Rs. 2,000 is required at check-in (refundable upon check-out after room inspection).
- 5Receipts will be issued for all payments. Keep your receipt for any refund claims.
- 6Any damages to property will be assessed and charged separately from the security deposit.
